What Is Soccer Pals Playgroup?
Soccer Pals Playgroup is an introduction to soccer for boys and girls ages 3-6 years old. They will learn all about soccer, but they'll also learn to play with a group, develop their social skills, and maximize their confidence in a social setting.
The Playgroup is centered around soccer, but what we're REALLY doing is giving your little one time out of the house (which means more time for you) and the chance to hang out with kids their age in a setting that's not school-based. So they can be themselves, and develop a "team sports" mentality that will give them confidence for life to achieve anything they decide to focus on.
The Playgroup is a five-session program at Prestige Indoor Sports facility and it's run by Coach Ibrahim Kante.
During the sessions, your kiddo will learn the foundation of the game - so dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting - all that good stuff but they'll also have a blast with Coach Kante's games, mini scrimmages, and other activities to keep the kids moving.
No long lines, tough drills, or anything boring!
So it's great for your little ones, but it's just as much for you as it is for them. Instead of having to sit with them at home or lug them around as you run errands, give yourself some time alone in the mornings to take care of what you need to take care of while they play soccer with our coaches.
The times, location, and setup are all designed to give you some time back without worrying about where your kid is at, what they're getting into, or what you're going to do next to keep them busy.
How Soccer Pals Playgroup Works:
First things, this is not a soccer team or a league. It's one session per week for five weeks of foundational soccer training, games, mini scrimmages, and an all-around blast with Coach Ibrahim.
When you sign up, you get FIVE sessions included, and each session will last one hour. You can stay and watch or leave and run some errands, it's up to you.
Each session happens one day a week so you can guarantee your free time weeks in advance for that morning. Scroll to see the time slots.
All equipment is included, so you don't have to bring anything except a water bottle and a smile. You don't even need cleats - tennis shoes will work just fine.
The Soccer Pals Playgroup Details:
When you register for the playgroup, you get a package of FIVE different dates. And since there are three dates included per week, you get three weeks per order. That being said, there are also two time windows per date. So once you've chosen your three weeks, choose your time slot.
You get FIVE weeks included in your registration. You can pick a Monday, Wednesday, or a Friday:

Playgroup Investment:
Soccer Pals Playgroup is $125.
You get FIVE sessions out of that $125 makes it just $25.00/session.
Our goal was to make it a fraction of what normal childcare costs, and according to Perplexity it comes in well under that mark. Plus, your little kicker actually gets to PLAY instead of sit at the water table or watch Cocomelon all morning :)
HOWEVER...
If you register before the 27th at midnight, you can get the $10 Early Bird discount. Which brings your total per session down to $23 per session.
All About Coach Ibrahim Kante, Soccer Pals Playgroup Head Coach:
Ibrahim grew up in Bamako, Mali on the west side of Africa, where soccer was everything to him and his friends. He played with a soccer ball made of plastic, and every day he and his friends would look for four big rocks to make two goals on the street!
Coach Ibrahim played with his friends every day, and his love for the game brought him to the United States, where he made two appearances as a rookie in 2003 with New England Revolution of Major League Soccer, before moving on to Milwaukee Wave United of the USL A-League in 2004.
He played several seasons of indoor soccer with Baltimore Blast, the Kansas City Comets, and the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League before signing with Crystal Palace Baltimore of the USL Second Division in 2007. He even scored Baltimore's first ever professional goal, a thunderbolt free kick from the edge of the box in a pre-season friendly!
He closed his professional playing career in 2013 with the Kansas City Comets, which brought him to Kansas City.
After his playing career wrapped up, he began coaching. He coached for over a decade at Kansas Rush, and made the move to Sporting Blue Valley two years ago and now he coaches six Sporting Blue Valley premier teams:

Coach Ibrahim Kante is a pillar of our community here at Sporting Blue Valley, and he has already made a huge impact for our Premier teams, special programs like Skills Club, and is highly requested for private trainings.
Growing up in Mali and working hard to get where he is today made him the player, coach, and dad he is to his two kids Nango and Aissata.
Availability
Soccer Pals Playgroup will close as soon as it fills (we're only admitting 15 people per session), but if you want to claim the discount you'll need to register before the timer hits zero to get $25 off your order.
That being said, we're going to offer this in the future for $200. But if you register before the deadline, you'll be one of the first to ever register for this, so it's our way of saying "thank you" to you for being part of something new.

How to Register For The Playgroup:
All registration is done inside your Sporting Blue Valley account.
Click one of the buttons on this page, and it'll take you to our login page where you can put in your email username and your password, and then you'll see your dashboard.
On your dashboard, click "XX Available Programs" next to your player's name.
You'll see all the available programs for your player - select "SPORTING BV Soccer Pals Playgroup" and select your session and location.
Once you've selected it, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Skip" "Continue" or "Next Player" until it brings you to the next page where you can put in your player information.
Once you've put in your info, click "Continue" again and once you've paid on the next page, you're good to go!
(If you have problems selecting it on your phone, turn your phone sideways (landscape) and you'll see a blue button to select instead of just a program description)
